Privacy Policy

GladiatorVII mobile app & gladiatorvii.com — last updated July 16, 2026

GladiatorVII is a self-hosted paper-trading application. The short version: we do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The app talks only to a server that you (or someone you trust) operate.

Data stored on your device

The mobile app stores the following locally on your device only, using your phone's app storage:

• The server URL and API key you enter in settings
• Your watchlist, price alerts, and theme preference
• Whether biometric app-lock is enabled

This data never leaves your device except to communicate with the server you configured. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Data sent to your server

When you use the app, it requests market data, account balances, positions, and order status from the backend server whose address you entered. That server is operated by you, not by us. It, in turn, communicates with Alpaca Markets (your brokerage data provider) using API keys that you supplied to your own server.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party trackers. We have no servers that receive your data.

Permissions

• Internet — to reach the server you configured.
• Notifications — to show local price alerts you set. Alerts are generated on-device; no push service receives your data.
• Biometrics — optional app lock. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system and is never accessible to the app.

Third parties

Your self-hosted server uses Alpaca Markets for brokerage data and may optionally use Anthropic's API for the Spartacus mentor feature. Those services' privacy policies govern the data your server sends them. The website gladiatorvii.com serves static pages and sets no cookies.

Children

GladiatorVII is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at gladiatorvii.com/privacy.html with a new "last updated" date.
